Smoothies are great nutritional bombs that are full of flavor, but green smoothies are even better. They increase your intake of vegetables and fruits and you give your body the nutrients it needs without even tasting the vegetables in the smoothie. -1 1/2 cups water
-1 head organic romaine lettuce, chopped
-3-4 stalks organic celery
-1/2 head of a large bunch, or 3/4 of a small bunch of spinach
-1 organic apple, cored and chopped
-1 organic pear, cored and chopped
-1 organic banana
-Juice of 1/2 fresh organic lemon

-1/3 bunch organic cilantro (stems okay)
-1/3 bunch organic parsley (stems okay)

Add the water and chopped head of romaine to the blender. Starting the blender at low speed, mix until smoothie. Gradually moving to higher speeds, add the celery, apple and pear. Add the cilantro and parsley, if you are choosing to add them. Add the banana and lemon juice last.

The fruit and lemon cut right though the grass taste. Feel free to mix and match different greens and fruits, as these two specific food groups combine well.

2. 5 Minute Workouts

Two hours. That’s how long you’ll feel revved up after taking just a 10-minute walk, according to a study in Personality and Social Psychology. This stretch stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, so it’s energizing for the body and mind.

6. Pray

Pray for the health and well being of your family and friends.  Pray for yourself.  Be specific – cast off your cares and concerns, ask for provision where you have needs.

7. Hug

Hugs are amazing stress relievers, that’s a proven fact. Just hugging your partner, your parent, your child or your friend – Has an immediate relaxation effect all over your body. Meditation is another hall of fame stress reliever. The greater the demands imposed on us, the greater the need to completely switch off. Now imagine that good things are happening to this person. For example, visualize him being hugged, kidded and loved (not by you), that he is happy, smiling, dancing in joy. Be happy for him. Let go of your anger, let go of your pain.

I guarantee that if you practice this for a few times you may find that the poisonous anger you felt is gone.

Remember, by keeping anger and resentment, you are only hurting yourself.

12. 5 Minute Gardening
